Balcad, a region situated about 35 km from the capital, is home to many children who face significant barriers to education. Whether due to financial hardships or the loss of their parents, many of these children are unable to attend school. However, through our dedicated efforts, we are making a difference in their lives.
Ensuring Access to Education
Education is a fundamental right, yet many families in Balcad struggle to afford school fees. Without financial support, their children are left without access to proper education. To address this, we have stepped in to sponsor and support vulnerable children, ensuring they receive the education they deserve.
Structural and Financial Support
Beyond covering school fees, we work to ensure that the municipal school in Balcad remains in good condition. This includes maintaining the school’s infrastructure, paying teachers, and providing essential supplies. Our commitment extends beyond academics; we also provide clothes and school accessories to help children feel comfortable and motivated in their learning environment.
Impacting Lives
Currently, up to 500 children attend the school, and we have taken on the sponsorship of about 130 girls and boys. Each sponsorship not only grants a child access to education but also gives them hope for a better future. By alleviating the financial burden on families and ensuring the sustainability of the school, we are paving the way for a brighter tomorrow for these children.
